Leadership

Pastor Josh, Jodi, Jacob, Micah, and Andrew moved to Leesburg in September 2020 when Pastor Josh assumed the Senior Pastor position at FBC Leesburg. They enjoy serving together at FBC, spending time together as a family, watching movies, taking trips, relaxing by the pool or at the beach, spending time outdoors, and using their musical talents.  

The Lord has blessed Josh and Jodi with a variety of opportunities to serve Him throughout their marriage. They’ve held ministry leadership positions in children’s ministry, student ministry, senior adult ministry, and worship leadership. Along with those leadership experiences, Pastor Josh has served as a lead pastor since 2008.

Pastor Josh earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Samford University (Birmingham, AL), his Master of Divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School (Birmingham, AL), and his Doctor of Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (New Orleans, LA).. 

Jared came on staff late 2023 to serve as the Music and Media Pastor here at First Baptist Leesburg. Him and his wife Megan have three boys under the age of five. His passion is to help equip the church through song and other creative expressions to glorify Christ and make Him known! He's a pour-over coffee kind of guy and his favorite snack is Cracker Jacks.

Aaron came on staff with us here at First Baptist Leesburg in late October of 2023. He holds an undergraduate degree and is about to graduate with his masters from Luther Rice Seminary and University. Aaron has served in various capacities within student ministry for over five years and is excited to see what God is doing in and through the next generation! In his spare time, Aaron enjoys antique collecting and drawing.

Missy has been the Children's Director here since 2005! She has a passion to encourage kids to know and love God through a relationship with Jesus. She enjoys
seeing kids grow and use their gifts to serve others. Her hope is to help provide parents with resources and support as they raise and disciple their kids.

Tina has been on staff here at First Baptist Leesburg since 2000 and continues to wear many hats in her role as Ministry Assistant! Always striving to go above and beyond, her calling is what keeps her motivated and thriving as she has such a big heart for the congregation here and the community of Leesburg. In her spare time she enjoys traveling. 

Pam started in her role as Financial Secretary here at First Baptist Leesburg in 2022, but has been a member here for over 48 years! She feels a prayer has been answered to serve the Lord and her local church in the role  that she's in and looks forward to continuing to do so. Her and her husband Burt have three sons together: Chris, Jacob, and Sam. She enjoys traveling  with her husband, reading, spending time with family and going on adventures with her granddaughter Emily! 

Tabitha has been a member of First Baptist Church Leesburg since 1999. She married Paul in 1998 and they have one son, John that was born in 2003.
She loves to see ideas come to life and seeing people find joy as they find their purpose serving God. Serving others changes us and she hopes you find a way to use your gifts to serve others and be changed. On her time off, she loves to read books and go fishing and in the Fall you might hear her yelling, “GO DAWGS!!” 

Kristin  oversees and executes our campus operations here at First Baptist Leesburg! She sees every little detail and strives to enhance our campus amenities so you and your family are able to enjoy everything that we offer in worshipping our Lord together! Kristin is also an entrepreneur of a small business in the area and we are thankful for her many contributions. She is married to James and they raise a son together named Henry.  

Melissa started in her role as Church Hostess in January of 2020, but has been a member of First Baptist Leesburg for nine years! Her and her husband Andy have two children: Aaron and Elizabeth and a farm that is a family adventure to keep up! Melissa enjoys providing hospitality and genuine connections with the congregation and the community here in Leesburg.
